Let’s be clear: here in the mid-2020s, democracy, civil society, and human rights are, and for the foreseeable future, will be under existential threat from billionaire-backed authoritarian politicians, movements, and media figures.

 

The siege from these forces takes many forms, from the takeover of institutions (from the local to the global) to the demonization of marginalized populations, from passing laws restricting the rights of citizenship to promoting hate, fear, and the denial of basic facts through mass and social media.

So crosscutting challenges require creative, proactive, crosscutting solutions. And I can help.

Collaboration

  • I support organizations working to influence policy at the U.S. federal level and in international and multilateral spaces.


  • I deliver qualitative research that is rigorous, consultative, actionable for advocacy and decision-making, and establishes my partners as thought leaders in making change. Wherever relevant, I ensure the informed consent of and full participation by marginalized populations.


  • I specialize in organizing strategic convenings and building durable coalitions of diverse stakeholders partnering to advance human rights and inclusive democracy.



  • I help organizations clarify their voice, strengthen their narrative, and align their message, medium, and audience to maximize impact. 


  • I help NGOs and grassroots organizations build the internal strength needed to sustain impact over time through needs assessment, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, and helping access funding technical assistance and policy spaces. Additionally, I support leadership development for advocates—particularly from marginalized communities and the Global Majority—through skills building, connecting and convening with like-minded partners, accessing resources, and developing narrative change strategies.


  • I design and deliver trainings, workshops, moderated discussions, and retreats for NGOs, funders, advocacy coalitions tailored to the specific needs and experiences of the participants. I also offer engaging presentations on a broad range of topics related to social justice, inclusive democracy, and human rights.
